International Entrepreneurship Course (3 credits)
- Open to grades: 11-12
- Length: Full year, 3-credits
- Prerequisite: Completion of an entry-level business course (Marketing, Accounting, Business Law, Economics, other courses upon instructor approval).
- Graduation Content Requirement: 1.0 credit Senior Social Studies and 2.0 credits Career & Tech. Ed.
Students will:
- Create their own international corporation
- Establish international trading partners with countries such as Ghana, Spain, and the United Kingdom
- Develop market research projects for international markets and analyze global economies
- Explore current international entrepreneurial opportunities
- Travel to numerous destinations to build partnerships
- Engage in civic and service learning
- Participate in local job shadows and internships
- Partake in SAGE, a national entrepreneurship competition
College Collaboration:
Students attend business sessions and work alongside with the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
