The Mercer Island High School International Entrepreneurship class runs Mercer Trade Inc., which imports and exports goods with partner schools in Ghana and Shanghai. Through their work they hope to empower Kenyan communities with clean water, education, and microfinance.

She received an MBA from at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth college management consultant Bain in Boston and San Francisco. | Kristine van der Hoeven has over 10 years experience in international business working for PricewaterhouseCoopers and GE capital. She is currently a business and marketing teacher with a Med from University of Portland. | |||
